Look For Love In Dead-End Road

　　"Cut! Its a wrap!"

　　As the director spoke these words out, all the staff cheered with joy.

　　All the people surrounded the leading actors, talking and laughing. Janice Ruskin was holding a large bunch of flowers from Daniel Tennyson while holding his arm with a proud smile.

　　Everyone seemed to forget the fact that Renee Cooper was still on the wires in the air.

　　Hot weather had wet her clothes inside and then dried, and then wet. The feeling of dehydration turned her head spinning with buzzes. She wanted to shout for help but was too weak to be heard.

　　Janice was stalling for time, which Daniel allowed with silence. He didnt even bother to give Renee a glance. Bitterness accumulated in Renees eyes.

　　Viola Henley hurried to her side, urging the staff to let Renee down.

　　"Renee, how can Daniel do this to you?" Viola complained.

　　"The reason that he doesnt love me can explain," Renee sneered at herself quietly in her head.

　　Total Media, one of the insignificant properties of the Tennyson family, was never treated seriously by Daniel, compared with his other big business.

　　However, he took delight in making other actresses rise to fame. To be more precise, he took delight in seeing Renees miserable face.

　　Renee leaned back on the sofa in weakness. She even wanted to vomit. Luckily, Viola left her some medicine to relieve her heat.

　　She then lifted her soft arms to get that but, uncontrollably, her hands deviated the right way.

　　"Are you suffering a headstroke?" Janice appeared at her door. Seeing Renees face as pale as a piece of white paper, she scoffed, "Renee, if you are sensible, youd leave the Tennyson family as quickly as possible! Otherwise, I am going to take action!"

　　The relationship between Daniel and Renee had been kept a secret but not to Janice. It explained why she was so jealous of Renee.

　　In Janices eyes, Renee was just an orphan who could be Daniels wife just because her parents once saved Daniels grandmothers life.

　　"I think you should go talk about this with Daniel," Renee showed calmness at Janices provocation.

　　Women like Janice were worth no attention, Renee thought.

　　The chance seemed slim that Janice could stay with Daniel for a long time. Since, he, had a high turnover of women.

　　"Renee, lets wait and see who has the last laugh," Janice didnt care showing her hostility against Renee.

　　Paul Parker, Daniels assistant, quietly took a glance at his boss whose face showed some pleasure, realizing Mr. Tennysons arrival was to irritate his wife on purpose.

　　"Mr. Tennyson, your grandmother just called and said you must go home tonight," Paul said carefully to Daniel.

　　At that moment, Daniels face turned rather sullen.

　　He just couldnt understand why his grandmother liked Renee so much. Did she cast a spell on his grandmother?

　　His grandmother not only allowed Renee to stay in their house when she was little but also forced him to marry her three years ago, threatening him with the companys stakes.

　　As the only successor of the Tennyson family, he couldnt figure out why he had to sacrifice his marriage to pay for his grandmothers savors kindness. Since then, he started to feel disappointed in Renee, which turned into resentment and hatred.

　　No matter what he did -always showing her a cold face and allowing other women to annoy her- Renee seemed to feel nothing.

　　In Renees room, she had rested for a while but still felt uncomfortable so she decided to go to the hospital for a physical examination.

　　During the period when she was waiting for the results, Renee received a call from Daniel.

　　"Where are you? Go back home for dinner," Daniel said coldly with his usual cold voice on the other end of the phone.

　　"I am in hos..." Even before she finished her words, he had already hung up.

　　Hearing the busy signal with a blank stare, Renee realized she had forgotten it again that he was not showing care when he called.

　　Renee told herself once and once again that she still had a lot of time to get him back.

　　However, the reality was like a bucket of cold water poured on her head. The doctor was wearing an embarrassed look.
