HER BODYGUARD

　　Kill or Die? (I)

　　It was a Thursday night and Adrian was out to make his last delivery for the day before he rushed off to the studio to complete his artwork. Yea, that was what he did, he had always juggled being the not so common hot delivery guy, his artistic skills and martial arts which he hadnt really been putting into good use as far as he was concerned.

　　Maybe the need for that hadnt arrived yet. .he thought to himself.

　　Alighting from his motorcycle, he took off his helmet in the most carefree way and maybe sexy as girls walking on the streets were now staring hard at him as he used his hands to comb between his thick, lustrous jet black hair that had become tousled already. A few silky locks fell across his forehead and very thick arched eyebrows even as he tried to smoothen his hair.

　　" Oh my God, hes so hot!" A girl whispered to her friend as they both stood watching him park his ride, with helmet held firmly in his arms as he walked into a pharmaceutical store to make the delivery.

　　Squealing with excitement, two girls at the counter of the store grinned happily when they saw him enter.

　　" Welcome!" one of the girls greeted as they watched the very handsome guy walk in with a confident gait.

　　He was very attractive and also had an athletic build. The girls felt he should have been a model rather than a delivery guy but having to see his face all the time made them glad anyways so they made orders every single day. Not because they were hungry, they just wanted to see the real life Adonis come into their store.

　　They couldnt help but stare at his big and tall frame which radiated great charm. His shoulders were broad and he was putting on a black jeans and a cream t-shirt that stretched tightly across his chest and abs.

　　 Hes so dreamy! they thought each time he showed his face.

　　" Heres your order" he said to them and dropped the package on the table. But it seemed as though the girls were more interested in his face than their order.

　　" Thank you so much........" a girl wanted to call his name, but no one knew his name. He was just called hot delivery guy as he hardly spoke to anybody.

　　Transactions were still going on when he noticed a strange man in a hood loitering in the store, it felt as though he was restless. He thought he saw him smuggle something into his pockets before walking hurriedly out of the store.

　　He wasnt sure but he thought the man looked suspicious as he watched him scurry into the street.

　　He turned his attention to the girls to complete his work here.

　　Now done with his delivery, he walked out of the store while the girls screamed " See you again, handsome" at him. His lips twitched in amusement, he had gotten used to their fangirling already.

　　As he made for his motorcycle, he noticed that the street was not so busy tonight and was unusually quiet.

　　Hopping onto his fast baby, his eyes darted to a figure lurking in the streets, the person was watching someone.

　　 Wait! Is that the same man I saw just now? he asked in his thoughts as he traced the direction of the hooded figures face. He was looking at a man talking on the phone.

　　This man being watched, from his deduction, was a very wealthy person. He stood beside a black beautiful SUV, talking to someone over the phone and was completely oblivious to whatever was happening or that someone was watching him.

　　A man in a suit was standing close to him and he guessed that he was his bodyguard.

　　 Was he a thief? Adrian wondered as he saw the strange man walk towards the direction of the distracted man who was backing them.

　　Maybe he wanted to steal from the rich man as he seemed to have a lot of cash at hand. He thought he saw the hooded man reach out for something in his back pocket.

　　He made a mental note to wait and observe the stranger before he took any action. He couldnt be so sure if the man was planning anything. Who knows, he could just be restless and needs medical attention. Hadnt he seen him come out of the store earlier?

　　Everyone was busy with their various duties and were basically oblivious to what was going on or that anything could even happen in the next moment from now. When nothing happened for some minutes, Adrian decided it was time to leave, besides, he was late for his studio session already.

　　Maybe I am just thinking things he thought

　　" Or maybe not...." He says in a whisper as he sees the man bring out something from his pocket. He wasnt certain but did he just see a...

　　"A gun?" Adrian muttered in shock. Did he want to kill the man? He stepped down from his motorcycle.

　　The hooded man was walking faster now towards his target who was still on the phone. He had no idea, even his bodyguard.

　　Adrian followed after the man but he knew he had to tread carefully.

　　The man stood at the spot and watched his target, gun in hand. He had been ordered by the boss to knock down this same man a few metres away from him. It was a Kill or Die situation.

　　" You kill Brian Bradford or die if you fail..." the words of his boss reverberated in his ears that instant.

　　" Shit!" Adrian cussed and ran as fast as he could, he rushed to the scene quietly to intervene before tragedy stormed that night.

　　Eyes still on his target, the assassin cocked his gun and had almost pulled the trigger when he felt a hand grip him from behind.

　　Adrian gripped his hand, pushing the gun up towards the sky in a split second so the released bullet would go to the air and not into the skull of its alleged victim.

　　" Pap Pap!" went the gunshot causing everyone to shriek in fear.
