Falling For The Village Girl

　　"Musbahu!"rumaina shouted as she searched for musbahu around the house, he is her only world and support. musbahu and rumaina are siblings, after the death of their parent they are forced to leave in the Village for it is the only place they have their relatives in.

　　Its been ten years since the death of their parent but rumaina and musbahu still found the strength to leave though, they dont have all the Necessitys of life like before but they still survived living in the Village with the help of their aunty rabia and her husband and three children zarahu, Abdul malik, and faiza. zarah is the same age as rumaina but rumaina acts older than her age, rumaina is a mature and beautiful young woman of age 17, shes brave and courageous and she fears no one except Allah. Shes the voice of the family, she stands up to any injustice that comes her way, shes strong and unbreakabl, shes ruma.

　　"Ruma! Im over here" musbahu said walking from behind the tall tree to where ruma stood with her hands at akimbo.

　　"Dont you want to go to school?"she  asked adjusting his collar and dusting his uniform.

　　"No school is boring" he said looking awkwardly sad.

　　"But how will you become a doctor then?" she asked dusting his bag which he left on the sandy floor of the compound.

　　"Ill read many books of course" he said grabbing his bag from Ruma.

　　"Ill talk to you later but now go to school, yaya Abdul malik is waiting for you" she said waving him goodbye and with that he left.

　　"ke rumaina kizo ki tyani yin masara ( rumaina come help me with the corn meal)" Aunt rabi shouted from inside the kitchen made of zinc.

　　"Toh ina zuwa (Im coming)" Rumaina  said picking up her hijab from the rope where she kept it for sun to Scotch and make it dry, she walked into the kitchen where she found Aunty rabi steering the tuwon masara (corn meal)  with the turning stick.

　　"Aunty gani nan ( aunty Im here)"

　　"Dan Allah ki tamaiki ni, bayana ciwo yak (please help me, my back is aching)" She said passing the turning stick to ruma.

　　"Zaki je wurin taila yau (will you go to the tailor today)" she asked washing her face with water at the entrance of the kitchen.

　　"Ai zan je (yes I will)" she said steering the corn meal

　　"Karfei nawa (what time)"  she asked walking in "I think Ill go by 8am sharp" she said forgetting her aunt was a typical illiterate woman who does not even understand a bit of English.

　　"ke kinsa bana jin wannan turanchi birni ki (you know I dont understand these English of yours)" her aunty said almost in a chuckle and she smiled and apologized before continuing with the work at hand while her aunt left to go wake zarahu.

　　After some time of cooking and preparing food, ruma decided to take her bath and wear something nice with a touch of powder and kajal. she dressed into her pink jalabiya with her white veil making her look nice and beautiful.

　　"Zarahu please lets go to the tailors shop" ruma said being an apprentice and working under hajiya summaya as her boss and teacher.

　　"OK let me just spray some perf " zarahu said as she rubbed some cream on her face and sprays a little bit of strawberry bobble gum perfume on her cloths.

　　"lets go" zarahu said walking out of the room and they both walked out of the compound.

　　"Rumaina do you know that fatu is now married?" zarahu asked holding onto her leather bag.

　　"Fatu?, The daughter of aunty hajo is married?" Ruma said with shock audible in her voice.

　　"yes she married bukar, the son of mallam bello" zarahu said as they walked slowly to hajiya summayas shop.

　　"wow she is lucky, bukar is a nice guy" ruma said walking into the shop and sitting on the bench waiting for hajiya summaya to come open the shop

　　"why isnt she here?" ruma said clearly irritated of sitting down on the bench.

　　"wallahi Im tired, lets go see Abba at the farm" zarahu said getting up "yes lets go see him" ruma said and she went along with zarahu  to her uncles farm which wasnt that far from the shop, after twelve minute of walking they finally arrived at the farm but were stunned at what was happening in the farm.

　　"Ive bought the land from its true owner" a tall fair young man who seemed to be a business tycoon dressed in a suit and wearing a tainted spectacle was talking very rudely to rumas uncle "please sir after the harvest Ill give you the farm land

　　"Rumas uncle said in tears and that made rumas heart break and she couldnt take it anymore so she intervened.
