Love that lasts

After a night of passion, Li Weiru struggled to support her sore body and bent to walk towards the bathroom when she heard the mans deep voice: "Tomorrow morning at ten, meet at the Civil Affairs Bureau."

Li Weiru turned around in disbelief, about to ask, when the mans phone rang.

"Hello, Phoebe?"

"Hmm, Im working. Be good over there, okay, Ill wait for you when you get back."

The mans voice carried a gentleness that Li Weiru had never heard before.

Li Weiru stood there, rooted to the spot, as a chill ran through her, spreading from her head to her toes and then throughout her limbs.

Li Weiru couldnt help but smirk, "Li Nanjue, since you and Phoebe have reconciled, lets break up."

"Li Weiru, dont look so wronged. When you climbed into my bed, didnt you know that Phoebe and I were in a relationship? If it werent for you, Phoebe would have been so angry that she left the country and refused to return?"

"But what did you mean by what you just said?"

"Ive grown fond of you after sleeping together for so long," the man said indifferently.

Li Weirus heart skipped a beat, only to hear Li Nanjue sneer, "Li Weiru, you wouldnt want to hear something like that, would you?"

Before Li Weiru could react, the man continued calmly, "I need a child, and you, youre relatively clean, thats all."
