A NIGHT WITH DOCTOR ROBERT CROWN

In an orphanage in a small city in Country Y, ghosts are crying and wolves are howling.

"Why are you howling! Why are you crying!" A child with messy hair, one foot on a small stone bench in the yard, one hand on her waist, pointed at the two boys who were crying loudly in front of her.

She was only eight or nine years old, wearing canvas shoes, a small vest and overalls.

Her small and delicate face was a little dirty, and there was a bruise on her forehead, but her eyes were clear and bright, with a fierceness.

Facing her ferocious look, the two boys kneeling on the ground opposite cried even more miserably.

"Dont cry!" The little girl stomped her feet and put her hands on her waist, "Or I will beat you!"

"Apologize." The little girl pointed to a girl with twin ponytails next to her, "Apologize to Twelve now, and I will forgive you."

"Seventeen, I, Im fine." The little girl called Twelve replied timidly.

Her ponytail was pulled crooked, her face was painted, and the sleeve of her clothes was torn off.

"How come youre okay? Those who bully the weak and fear the strong should be punished, otherwise, they will dare to bully you next time." Seventeens face was serious.

Twelve was still very scared and could not help hiding behind Seventeen.

Seventeen immediately glared at the two little boys.

"Yes..." The two were about to apologize when they caught a glimpse of the teacher who came in a hurry.

Suddenly, the two continued to cry loudly.

"Why are you crying again! Dont cry, Im really going to beat you up!" Seventeen threatened crisply.

"Its you again!" The teacher behind him had approached, grabbed Seventeens arm, and hit him hard, "Youve only been here for three days and you beat the children in the yard to tears every day!"

Seventeen frowned in pain, raised his head and said dissatisfiedly: "They beat Twelve first! I just let them taste the taste of being beaten!"

"We didnt, we really didnt!" Of course, the two children did not admit it.

"You dare to quibble!" The teacher naturally believed the boy who was beaten badly, pinched Seventeen again, and dragged her back, "Come with me, I must put you in the detention room today."

"You are unreasonable! They obviously beat Twelve, you are blind and you cant see it!" Seventeen struggled to argue, "If you dont believe it, ask Twelve!"

The teacher didnt listen to her explanation at all, pinched her again, and put her in the detention room.

"You are unreasonable!" Seventeen struggled, but her small body couldnt beat the teacher at all.

The door was closed heavily, and Seventeen was silent instantly.

Darkness, boundless, without a single light.

It was so oppressive that it made people breathless.

She curled up by the door, trembling with fear.

In the dark place, all kinds of terrifying things seemed to emerge, rushing towards her from all directions.

Seventeen leaned against the cold wall, as if only in this way could she feel at ease.

After an unknown amount of time, the door of the room was kicked open from outside with a bang.

Before Seventeen could react, she was hugged into someones arms.

There was only a dim light outside the confinement room, and moths kept fluttering under the light.

Seventeen opened her eyes weakly, and saw a handsome boy. Under the dim light, she still saw the faint blue in his pupils. She was not afraid, but asked with curiosity: "Who are you?"
